About Gentle Chi

Gentle Chi® uses repetitive calming movements and breathing exercises to help strengthen the nervous system and support general health and well-being. The progressive nature of the program allows you to adjust the movements to meet your own physical abilities and to work within your own limitations. Gentle Chi® supports positive lifestyle changes on all levels (physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually) and can help you to achieve balance and equilibrium in your life. Ultimately, the training is designed to help you build a sense of inner peace that can form the basis of how you relate with your own inner calm, no matter what your outer circumstances are.

Gentle Chi® draws from yoga and the healing side of the martial arts, such as t’ai chi and chi gung, to provide exercises and meditations that support improvements in your health outcomes and healthy lifestyle choices.  The program was developed by Paul Keller, Founder and President of the American Shorin-ryu Karate Association (ASKA).  The ASKA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the growth, teaching, and advancement of the martial arts and beneficial healing and wellness applications.

Gentle Chi® has much to offer you, your family, and even your company or organization.  Visit our membership page to learn more about these benefits!
